EEA and Norway Grants
EEA and Norway Grants offers funding opportuinities within a wide range of topics related to circular economy.
The EEA and Norway Grants are financial mechanisms financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The aim of the Grants is twofold – to reduce social and economic disparities in Europe and to strengthen the bilateral relations between the three donor countries and the 15 European countries which receive the funding.
Currently there are calls for relevant projects in Portugal, Bulgaria and Romania.
Horizon Europe
Horizon Europe is the ninth framework program for research and innovation from the EU. It was launched the 1. January 2021 with a total proposed budget of 95.5 million euros.
It tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth.
The calls are available for all types for Norwegian organisations that have the operational and financial capacity to carry out the tasks they propose.
There are several opportunities to obtain funding through Horizon Europe. Some of the most relevant are:
- European Innovation Council Accelerator
- Grants and equity for upscaling market-oriented innovation projects
- Collaborative projects in Horizon Europe
- Research institutes, companies and other organisations can co-apply for funding withing EUs six “clusters” (focus areas)
- European Innovation Eco-systems (EIE)
